GENOVAC has developed a niche in the world antibody market, generating antibodies that influence the functions of various proteins, e.g. cytokines or membrane-bound receptors, including difficult multi-membrane spanning proteins.
Innovative proprietary methods enable us to produce highly specific, high-affinity antibodies by genetic immunization based on the cDNA sequence alone. This will allow a rapid translation of the wealth of genomic information into extremely valuable tools especially suitable for the diagnosis and therapy of many diseases as well as for basic research. In close collaboration with our customers we generate tailor-made antibodies to suit their specific requirements for the development of highest quality antibodies.
Over the last 12 years, GENOVAC has generated antibodies by genetic immunisation to more than 1500 target proteins with an overall success rate of 84%. We have delivered antibodies to over 500 clients, including many internationally renowned academic institutes and are a preferred vendor to several large pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies.
